Just a blog on the Internet and an Adsense account to start generating income online. It is within the reach of everyone, and yet everyone is not doing. I will summarize the 10 things to do not forget that the system works.

1. Use the same color for your site and your Adsense space. More advertising is drowning in content and in the site, and you will get clicks. If you use a clear red for your menu, use the exact same red for your Adsense.

2. Put your Adsense ads at the top of the page and not down. Customers can not click on ads they do not see ... and more than half of Internet users do not read your page to the bottom.

3. Add a search box, Google Adsense on your site. Over 20% of users search only found your site, if the first page displayed does not match exactly what they want and the site seems to them relevant.

4. Consider using all formats of Adsense ads (mobile, RSS, videos, pictures and text ...). If you can add buttons also were sponsored when available (they tend to disappear in French).

5. Consider using Adsense targeting tags: In the source code, place this tag
<! - Google_ad_section_start ->
before the content you want to target and
<! - Google_ad_section_end ->
after. If you want to specify Adsense completely ignore some of the content (a tag cloud for example), use the tag
<! - Google_ad_section_start (weight = ignore) ->
before and
<! - Google_ad_section_end ->
after.

6. There are subjects that pay more than others. For example, the purchase of credit pays more than the disposable razors. The online dating sites pay more than free wallpapers ... Think about what pays well. Learn about the Internet, there are "ratings" and similar costs per click depending on the content (information to be taken lightly, but giving a good overview.

7. Write interesting content. If your page has no interest, gives no info and is badly written, it's likely that the (few) visitors read two lignent and return to their Google search for more conclusive results. If instead you strive to create valuable content, visitors will read it with interest, and will naturally want to click on a link located on the same page (possibly a pub Adsense). In addition, valuable content may be quoted, to be reviewed and to be well received by the search engines (thus increasing your ranking, your traffic, your Adsense revenue!).

8. Watch the Adsense ads displayed on your site. There are certainly some who do not belong there, that are completely off topic and you are losing money. You can ban sites that publish these ads on your own, directly on your Adsense management console.

9. Use Google Analytics and Adsense tracking tool. You can cut across very effectively and maximize the data that must be. For example, if you notice that 70% of visits came from Google for a specific keyword click on Adsense ads when you arrive at your site ... it'll just improve SEO for this keyword to increase your Adsense revenue!

10. Avoid displaying too many links to your page. The more links, and more opportunities you offer your visitor to make him "go click somewhere else" on your pubs ;-) For example do not display links to your sites, or to an RSS feed news etc. ... stick to the menu of the homepage and articles related to the current article. I created a dozen pages on a site a few years ago, with only one link to the homepage (image link, barely visible) and had found that the rate of click on the ads was high enough because ... Articles offered a real content, remember that the content is most important!
